PANDA

I am a parent and a parent advocate for students who learn differently. My group - PANDA - Parent Advocacy Network for Differently-Abled in Maryland, has known for sometime how teachers are muzzled from speaking out about the educational needs of the students because the system would not allow it.

It is with this knowledge that I am joining this group [NAPTA] in hope that teachers would understand the parents who are at their wits end in securing appropriate education for their children who are challenging, are often kept in the dark, and may not understand what the teachers themselves are facing on daily basis.

It is with this knowledge, that I support your cause and hope many more teachers and parents will join together to take the control of educating our children in our own hand.
